Corporate
Responsibility

At Outdoor Cap, our goal is to be a company our customers, our employees, our factories, our licensing partners, and the global community can rely on. We work each day to be better than the day before.

We believe you deserve high-quality headwear manufactured in responsibly advancing factories. We hold our partners and ourselves accountable for developing attainable solutions to social issues.

You can be confident that Outdoor Cap products are manufactured in factories that adopt our international code of conduct and are audited by globally recognized organizations. We are committed to maintaining long-term partnerships with our factories as well as the welfare of their employees and communities.

Outdoor Cap understands product safety is key. We comply with USA regulatory compliance and monitor product safety through 3rd party global compliance agencies.

We understand that our global ventures impact local communities. We take active measures to protect our borders and our neighbors through compliance with the Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. C-TPAT is a trade partnership with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) [link] agency that provides steps to safeguard global supply chains from terrorist activity.

We believe people throughout the world deserve to experience health, safety, and happiness. Outdoor Cap has a Workplace Code of Conduct, and we only select factories that share in our ethics and agree to follow our Code. We work diligently to protect and support our workers overseas just as we do our American team members.

We have a dedicated Social Responsibility Team who works closely with our factories to identify areas of concern or risk through auditing and implement progressive remediation.

In 2012, Outdoor Cap developed and implemented a unique Workplace Literacy Program in Bangladesh. Our 9 month program was developed alongside a local Bangladesh NGO. Through our program, a selection of factory employees are taught to read and write their local language and taught base mathematics. Upon graduation, each student attends a graduation ceremony where they are presented a graduation certificate as well as gifted books and reading material.
